Opening Soon, For everyone who wears clothes. 〰️

Who

We're Kingbridge Cleaners & Tailors — a family-run business founded in 1968 by Joseph and Victoria Aviles, and still run by the Aviles family today. For nearly six decades, we've cared for the wardrobes of New Yorkers from every walk of life, from neighbors dropping off a favorite shirt to some of the city's most recognizable names in fashion and hospitality. What hasn't changed is the hands-on craft and the belief that every garment tells a story worth protecting.

What

We're opening a new retail storefront at the Brooklyn Navy Yard — a welcoming neighborhood home for expert garment care, tailoring, and restoration. Think of it as a front door to our production facility just steps away, where the same artisans who care for luxury houses like Moncler, Loro Piana, and Brunello Cucinelli will care for your everyday favorites with the same attention. Drop-off, pickup, alterations, specialty cleaning, and honest advice — all under one roof.

Where

You'll find us on Flushing Avenue, right at the edge of the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard. In fact, no one has ever opened a retail store here and so we don’t even have a formal address yet. We're proud to plant roots in a neighborhood where making things well still matters, alongside the filmmakers, fabricators, and creators who call the Yard home. It's a fitting home for a business built on the same values.

Why

Great garment care shouldn't feel transactional — it should feel like someone genuinely cares about what you're handing them. We're opening this space to bring our work closer to the community that's supported us across generations, and to make heritage-level craft accessible to anyone who walks through the door, and we’ll deliver it right back to you. Whether it's a wedding suit, a beloved winter coat, or a uniform that gets you through the week, we're here for it.

When

Coming soon to the Brooklyn Navy Yard. We're putting the finishing touches on the space now and can't wait to open our doors (fingers-crossed) at the end of May. Join our list to be the first to know when we're ready to welcome you in.
