A while back, Henry was laying down watching the inventory rack spin and spin and spin. Order after order of forgotten, once cherished customers garments hung alone, waiting to be reunited with their owner.
In accordance with the New York State Abandoned Property Law, an order left after 180 days at a dry cleaner can be donated to a charity. While Kingbridge does everything in our power to reach each customer who’s order may have been forgotten - too often beautiful pieces are abandoned.
Henry, our CCO 🐶(Chief Canine Officer) sometimes takes the opportunity to model some of these pieces before they are donated to a charitable organization and subsequently person who can use it and will appreciate it. All pieces are re-cleaned before donation to various charitable organizations.
